Purpose: We are currently seeking a dynamic Director, Global Program Manager to become a key member of our Flex Industrial Business Segment. This position requires proven experience in strategic and operational program management and will manage our global program partners. Principle Accountabilities: The Director, Global Program Manager will: Plan and direct program schedules and budgets. Monitor program from initiation through delivery, interfacing with customer on technical and business matters. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems and analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction. Maintain profitability by ensuring quoted contribution margins are achieved, review key operating indicators and provide factory operations with solution adjustments if they are outside margin target; ensure that negative PPV is collected as agreed in customer contract and that Accounts Payables are current. Negotiate difficult contracts and ensure factory and customers adhere to contractual terms and conditions; project manage NPI and R&L customer activities. Establish operational objectives and assignments. Senior management to determine success of operation reviews objectives. Work on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors. Exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Ensure budgets, schedules, and performance requirements are met. Regularly interact with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions and/or customers. Single point of customer contact for project status, tracking, requirements management, and new business opportunities. Interface with customers highlighting any issues, mitigation plans. Farm existing customer accounts, develop incremental business opportunities - preparation of proposals and bid responses, customer meetings. Manage a portfolio of projects executed at different design centers around the world on behalf of customer. Closely work with project managers and design teams at various sites to successfully deliver projects with quality, on-time, and on-budget. Support sales team for new business development when requested. Create high-level project summary documentation. An appropriate Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) with 6-10 years of progressive experience in/or Procurement, Program Management or Materials. Management in a leadership position with proven strategic and tactical success. Thorough knowledge of international Business practices, Negotiation skills, Material Management principles and customer service. The ability to collaborate across boundaries, disciplines, cultures, and levels within the organization. The flexibility to work as a self-starter in a fast-paced, flexible environment. Superb analytical, consulting, and influencing skills, with a track record of identifying issues and formulating solutions. It is anticipated that the position will require travel 40-50 percent of the time.
