  Job Title: Director of Marketing – Enterprise    PEOPLE – PLACE—PURPOSE—POTENTIAL Position Summary Plantronics B2B Group is responsible for driving business growth, including product management, marketing, strategic partnerships and new business initiatives, for Plantronics’ audio solutions across the enterprise and contact center markets.  In this role you will be the driving force behind Plantronics WW marketing initiatives in the Enterprise Marketplace. Responsibilities:   Key member of business unit team setting long-term and short-term strategies for Enterprise segment.  Translate business unit strategy into executable GTM plans for the Americas.  Responsible for meeting overall revenue targets. Identify and prioritize customer segments to achieve business objectives.  Oversee the allocation of marketing resources into campaigns, programs verticals, and market segments.  Accountable for segment strategy and messaging. Focal point for collaboration with regional sales/marketing teams to ensure efficient and effective execution of GTM plans on global basis.  Work closely with field sales and channel marketing to create programs which leverage our sales and channel strengths. Drive cross-business unit marketing strategies for single voice to B2B Enterprise segment.  Help identify key value propositions for PLT customers through understanding of external industry trends, business challenges and solutions requirements.   In conjunction with the business development team, identify and champion key solutions providers for leveraged GTM strategies.  With Knowledge Management team, analyze available research and conduct on-going research to diagnose state of category awareness, interest, adoption and usage, to track competition, and to understand end-user buying processes to support planning strategy and marketing efforts. Provide leadership for CRM 2.0 and Web 2.0 strategies for increasing customer engagement.  Apply quantitative methods for learning about our prospects and customers, measuring effectiveness and adapting of our marketing initiatives, and creating a maximizing life-time customer value. The Ideal candidate will have:  15+ years of marketing experience with domain knowledge and expertise in traditional and evolving Enterprise GTM strategies. Extensive functional knowledge spanning full marketing mix (inbound and outbound), combined with deep understanding of enterprise market.  In addition to traditional B2B technical marketing, must have implemented successful B2C marketing programs – driving individual purchases.  Direct/database marketing experience a plus. Track record of success, indicated by increasing role and responsibilities.  Strong analytical skills, especially in areas of measuring marketing effectiveness and gaining customer insights. Excellent communication skills – demonstrated in global, fast-paced environment.  Ability to collaborate at all levels within the organization. Sales and customer development experience - a plus: especially in marketing, negotiation, communications and interpersonal skills.  Knowledge of telecommunications technologies, IT buying processes, ecosystem development (including channels), and market adoption. Matrix-management and multitasking skills essential Successful experience in public speaking, PR spokesperson, and analyst briefings roles.
