Altec Lansing is a market share leader in the PC speaker system category providing high performance multimedia products for the computer OEM, reseller, distributor, and retail marketplace.  Our headquarters is located in Milford, Pennsylvania, right on the Delaware River Highlands at the foot of the beautiful Pocono Mountains, with many outdoor recreational opportunities.  In addition, Milford is a weekend get away destination with the amenities of a small resort town.  We are within commuting distance of many Northern New Jersey and Southern New York residential areas and only 70 miles from New York City.Position Summary The Director of Finance will play a key role in managing the FP&A function.  The position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer of Plantronics and to the Division President.  The responsibilities of the Director include (but not limited to):Responsibilities:·  The key financial interface between Altec and Plantronics.  The incumbent is responsible for all accounting and financial reporting activities.·  Responsible for overall sufficient financial consequence exposure for the Division’s strategic and operational planning and execution·  Manage, and, when necessary, develop internal controls.  Insure the Division is in compliance with corporate processes and procedures, including adherence to SOX. ·  Manage to budget and forecast; perform the financial analyses necessary to provide information on Division performance.  Participate in pricing decisions with Sales and Marketing.  Monitor all divisional legal activities and work in close cooperation with the Corporate Legal department to manage and control legal risks The Ideal Candidate:The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 10 years experience in:  FP&A, Accounting and G&A, including budgeting and pricing analysis Management of internal controls and knowledge of SOX Knowledge of corporate financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting requirements Working in a cross-functional, matrixed organization Managing multiple direct reports and their teams Proven project management capability Significant experience in a consumer electronics retail manufacturing/distribution company strongly preferred  Basic Requirements  BA/BS in business or related discipline.  An MBA and/or CPA are a plus. 8 Years of solid experience in FP&A, Accounting and  G&A activities at a managers level For consideration, please apply by registering on our career page at   Click here to  APPLY ON LINE Altec Lansing is an AA/Equal Opportunity Employer.
