Director of Manufacturing Operations

Balboa Water Group is a dynamic Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) and Electro/Mechanical System Assembly company with facilities located in Tustin and Valencia, California.  We are seeking a Director of Manufacturing Operations who is passionate about and driven to transform a good operation into a GREAT (World Class) operation.  You must be prepared to roll up your sleeves and seriously contribute to the growth of our organization. This position will be responsible for our Tustin manufacturing facility which employs 300+ people.

 

You will be responsible for:

 ÿ Reporting to the Corporate VP of Operationsÿ The overall operations of the facility in a manner which supports the company’s Safety, Quality, Efficiency, and Cost Objectivesÿ Providing leadership, mentoring, and professional development support to the rest of the Manufacturing Leadership Team

 

The Ideal Candidate will have:

 ÿ Bachelor’s degree in a related technical or management disciplineÿ 10 years of experience in operations and manufacturing managementÿ Expert in progressive management tools:  LEAN, 6-sigma, TQM, SPC, 5S, etc.ÿ Experience in a medium to large sized assembly/fabrication manufacturing environment is preferredÿ Strong strategic planning and budgeting skillsÿ Professional demeanor and interpersonal skillsÿ Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
