Display Manufacturing Engineer

Position Summary
Kent Displays, Inc. is search for a Display Manufacturing Engineer to develop tooling, documentation, and systems for pilot production of Reflex displays, is a key team member in establishing a roll to roll manufacturing line, supports other manufacturing functions in display fabrication and process technology.

 

Duties to included but not limited to:
Liaison between design engineering and manufacturing groups

Program lasers, robots and other machines to produce desired product

Perform capability analyses on manufacturing processes

Drive implementation of lean manufacturing principles, including

o  determining optimum product mix

o calculating takt times

o establishing continuous work flow

o value stream mapping

 

Design and build custom tooling to aid in manufacturing displays.

Write documents, including standard operating procedures, test reports, flow charts, specifications and progress reports

 

Qualifications
5-7 years engineering experience in a lean manufacturing environment, working knowledge of AutoCAD

 

Education:
BA or BS in Technology, Physics, Materials Science, or Engineering.
