Dry Etch Engineer
Located in: Manassas, VA 20110 As a Dry Etch Engineer at Micron’s Manassas, Virginia, site, you will maintain the Dry Etch process by supporting manufacturing and increasing equipment up time. In this position, you will respond to production issues, implement solutions, reduce costs, and improve yields. You can also expect to support existing processes, identify process and material improvements, and develop intellectual property.Additionally, you will use statistical process controls and data analysis to support and monitor the performance of tools such as the Lam 9400, Lam 2300 (oxide and poly), Tel DRM, P5000, and Applied DPS1/2. Your other responsibilities will include identifying and resolving defect issues, auditing recipes, and assisting area technicians with routine maintenance. In addition to improving preventative maintenance procedures, you will communicate procedural changes to engineers and production personnel.Successful candidates for this position will have: Understanding of Statistical Process Control An understanding of Dry Etch tools such as Lam 2300 (oxide and poly), Tel DRM, SCCM, and AMAT DPS2/Producer. A strong mechanical aptitude and exposure to statistics (preferred). Demonstrated analytical problem-solving skills. Good time-management skills. A high level of self-motivation. Good computer knowledge that can be applied to documentation and analysis. A high level of comfort working in a fast-paced team environment. Education: BS in Engineering is required. Join Us!
