ENGR PROJ SR, POWER MODULE TECHNOLOGY
Description:Position SummaryDesign semiconductor power module packaging and electronic component packaging including the section of materials, processes and design features which affect the performance and manufacturability of the products.Develop processes to manufacture semiconductor power module packages and implement them into the manufacturing lines. Assume responsibility for new semiconductor power modules and electronic component packaging lines being released to production from design phase through pilot production.Support the power module manufacturing lines from a process engineering stand point.Qualifications:Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline.At least 5 years as a Project Engineer ( Having major product development project responsibility) in a product development or process engineering area dealing with the development or design of power modules, hybrid circuits or power electronic devices.Must have 12 - 15 years in a product development or process engineering area dealing with the design, fabrication or assembly of electronic components and assemblies.Experience with electronic component packaging design. Experience with agency (UL, & IEC) approval requirements and design requirements as they apply to industrial power packaging.Experience in process engineering and manufacturing support.Experience in material selection for electronic components.Experience with manufacturing systems and product development documentation systems.Experience with large wire bondingExperience with soldering processes (Vacuum soldering want)Experiences with potting and potting materials.Desired QualificationsMasters of Science degree in an engineering discipline.PRO-E CAD experience.Salary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experienceRockwell Automation offers a competitive benefit plan.
