Electrical CAD Designer

 

We are looking for an Electrical CAD Designer to create and maintain schematics, wiring diagrams, and single-line diagrams, P&IDs and panel layouts for high-speed high-power generators and motors, electronic control systems and switchgear.  In addition this position will create and maintain Bill of Materials for complex electro-mechanical systems.

 

Duties & Responsibilities: Develop schematics, wiring diagrams and other technical drawings using Engineering input, data sheets and specifications and data from other CAD systems.  Create necessary drawings for a project from start to finish using AutoCAD Electrical Create and maintain a Bill of Materials for electronic and electrical system components Prepare panel layouts from engineering sketches or existing prototypes Create one-line diagrams for electrical power generation systems

 

Education and Experience: Associates degree in an appropriate field 5+ years experience as an Electrical CAD Drafter/Designer 5+ years experience with AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical Familiarity with the NEC Printed circuit board CAD experience a plus Experience with motors, generators and switchgear is a plus
