ELECTRICAL CONTROLS ENGINEER

 

The Matthews Marking Division manufactures and distributes conventional and digital printing equipment and consumables that are used to apply printed codes and identification information onto manufactured goods. We are currently in search of an Electrical Controls Engineer for our customer-engineering group to engineer automation and motion control systems for specific application requirements.

 

Required

· Degree in electrical / electro-mechanical engineering

·Minimum three years experience in the controls design of automated equipment

·Experience with PLCs, programming software tools for PLCs, and user interface design is required (preferably Allen-Bradley)

· Knowledge of UL (508/508A), NFPA, and NEC requirements is considered a plus

 

The candidate will work on projects from inception to installation at customer sites and will gain an in-depth knowledge of industrial inkjet and contact printing technologies that are applied to a variety of leading-edge industry applications.
