CONTROLS - Field Service Engineer

 

My client is a over 150 years old Capital Equipment Manufacturer and will be locating a facilty in Louisville and have a need for a Controls Engineer with field service experience in the set-up and programming of Allen-Bradley production products. An additional attribute would be the capability of set-up and programming products as well as a working knowledge of autocad. Will be working close with testing with  very little travel for 2008. 
This position requires engineering experience in a manufacturing environment. Candidates must have knowledge/programming experience with Allen Bradley PLC’s (PLC5, SLC500, Mircrologix, etc.) and variable drives as well as experience in troubleshooting and other manufacturing equipment.

This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Candidates at a variety of skill/experience levels will be considered. Position level and salary will vary with the skill level of the successful candidate.
