Job Title:  Electrical Development Engineer
Job Description:
Overall responsibility for electrical design of optical interconnects modules based upon Lightwire's patented CMOS photonic technology.Responsibilities:
Electrical design and implementation of optical module assemblies.Project Leader of a multi-disciplined team focused on delivering product.Work with optical, mechanical and manufacturing engineers to implement cost effective, innovative, low cost manufacturable product designs.Develop detailed drawings/specifications as required.Test method development for product characterization and manufacturing as needed.Experimental lab measurements.Some overseas travel required.Background:
BS, MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.Minimum of 5 years related experience.Experience with PCB schematic generation and layout.Project Leader experience required.Previous experience with both prototype and volume manufacturing required.Lab experience with optical measurements and optical test equipment strongly desired.Microwave simulation experience strongly desired.
