Full-Time Instructor

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at UCCS invites applications for the position of Instructor in Electrical Engineering. This is an at will position to be renewed on an annual basis. Primary duties include teaching 24 semester hours of courses/laboratories per academic year (12 semester hours per semester), and contributing to the service duties in the ECE Department 20% time.

 

Minimum required qualifications are 1) A master’s degree in electrical engineering or a closely related field; 2) Specific expertise in logic circuits, circuits, electronics, and semiconductor devices; 3) The ability to teach students from the freshman through senior/graduate technical elective levels. Preferred qualifications include a Ph.D. in electrical engineering or a closely related field and prior teaching experience in higher education.

 

The required starting date is August 18, 2008. Salary will be commensurate with education and experience. A benefits package is available.
