Electro-Mechanical Assembler

 POSITION OVERVIEW Perform electro-mechanical assembly functions including: cabling, stuffing electronic cabinet, interconnect wiring, etc. Work with minimal work direction with strong emphasis on manufacturing self-verification practices. JOB / DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES Manufacture cable assemblies and continuity verification. Manufacture printed circuit assemblies, through-hole and surface amount. Stuff electronic cabinet with electronic assemblies (e.g., amplifier, computer, etc.) Interconnect electronic cabinet components. Provide timely and accurate feedback on problems encountered. Work from assembly drawings and procedures to assure consistent proper assembly techniques. Maintain accurate records and document quality problems as required. Perform other duties as assigned.



 

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONSKnowledge / Education

Have at least 2-5 years of Electro-Mechanical assembly experience. 

    Job Experience

Experience performing electro-mechanical assembly in a medical device FDA cGMP QSR 21 CFR part 820 or ISO 9000 regulated business Must be able to read and comprehend written and verbal instructions Must be able to lift 50 lbs





    Skills/ Competencies

 

Proficient electro-mechanical assembler techniques including continuity verification. Soldering certification to IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 through-hole and surface mount, or equivalent. Manufacture drawings and work instructions and also have strong verbal communication skills. Company Employee Training Requirements- Duty Specific SOPs.
