Cole Hersee Company has a unique opportunity for an exceptional and creative Electrical Engineer.  We are seeking an Electronic Design Engineer, BSEE with 1-3 years experience.  This person will work in cooperation with a team of high talented professionals to research, design, and develop innovative new electronic solutions for 12V/24V automotive, heavy-equipment, and marine applications. 

 

Responsibilities

·  Design embedded real-time control systems that incorporate digital and analog circuits.

·  Work independently and as a team member, to produce and support designs that are accurate, reliable, robust, and cost effective.

·  Research relevant technologies and perform competitive analysis.

·  Construct prototypes and conduct product verification and validation testing.

·  Create, review, and publish design documentation including specifications, test plans, and change orders, according to established standards.

Skills / Knowledge / Ability

We are seeking a naturally creative thinker, who is a highly motivated, self starter with solid engineering knowledge and hands-on experience.

 

Candidates must have experience or knowledge with:

·  Circuit designs both digital and analog.

·  Prototype construction and verification

·  Microcontroller

Candidate experience in any of following is a plus:

·  Automotive electronics

·  Firmware development for embedded applications

·  Power electronics

·  PCB layout

·  High-volume low-cost OEM product design

·  Serial communication networks (J1939, LINbus, SPI, I2C, or other.)
