POSITIONOVERVIEW




Responsible for the overalltechnical support required by production, service, and engineering departments.


JOB  DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES

 Provide technical leadership and support tomanufacturing, service and engineering departments for systems troubleshootingand resolving product issues/problems.



 

 Provide technical interface betweenmanufacturing, service and design engineering departments to insure theavailability of accurate information.



 

Identify product quality issues, communicateinformation to quality and engineering personnel and follow up to insurecorrective actions have been taken.



 

Work with design engineers to insure theaccuracy of BOMs and product structures released under the formal ECO process.



 

Create test fixtures, test procedures andtest equipment, as required, for acceptance tests for the assemblies andsubsystems/systems of new or rebuilt systems. 



 

 Assist QC/QA in evaluating system quality andefficacy.



 

 Review all engineering changes to determineacceptability of changes. 


Must have strong background in systemtroubleshooting, as well as problem solving related to power supply and poweramplifier. Must be an effective communicator and process the ability to teachlower level personnel the proper methods required to build and refurbish the product.Must be strong in both analog and digital circuits. Previous MRI gradientamplifier and RF experience is desired.
 Musthave strong background in system troubleshooting, as well as problem solvingrelated to power supply and power amplifier.




Knowledge/ Education

 

  BSEE orhigher degree required. 15 or more years related experience
