Electronics Electrician

Remedy Staffing has teamed up with an established manufacturing company in Chesapeake to find qualified candidates for an Electronics Electrician position.  The electronics electricina will design electrical control systems to company specifications and take the project from concept through installation on sight.  Must have hands on experience with PLC’s, machine design from an electrical standpoint, and manufacturing processes. AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY AND QUALIFICATIONS:            1.     Meet all qualifications as an electrician2.     Must have a working knowledge of all phases of the area assigned.3.     Designing and building control circuitry for any given piece of material.4.     Have a thorough working knowledge of PLC logic controllers, DC inverters,  and AC control systems .5.     Modify existing schematics to reflect changes on plant equipment.6.     Maintain electrical schematic library for plant equipment.7.     Must be familiar with digital logic design and have the ability to design and fabricate electronic/electrical circuits and express ideas in written form.8.     Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and work well in a team environment.9.     Must have the ability to present information clearly and efficiently between team members verbally and in writing.10. Keep area of responsibility neat and clean.11. Perform other duties as needed, and assigned.12. Must have and maintain a satisfactory work attendance record.13. Demonstrate ability to use equipment in a safe manner including use of operating guards and safety switches.  Maintain good safety record and use of personal safety equipment.14.
