Position Description:

Actively seeking an experienced RFIC designer to design high performance RF/Analog circuits for today’s highly sophisticated CMOS RF transceiver products, using state-of-the-art deep sub-micron CMOS technologies. These products include RF/Baseband transceivers for cellular and many other emerging mobile communication applications. Experience in one or more of the following areas are required.•Strong knowledge on the deep sub-micron CMOS technologies•Knowledge and experience with cellular standards, such as GSM, WCDMA, etc.•Hands-on experience in designing RF building blocks such LNA, Mixer, PPA, VCO, charge pump, PFD, Pre-scalars, low-noise bias circuits, etc., as well as performing the top level (or chip-level) integration•Ability to comprehend the RF transceiver’s system level requirement and to translate it into the circuit level specifications. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills are essential.•Strong knowledge on IC design CAD tools such as Spectre, SpectreRF, Spice, Matlab, ADS, etc•A thorough understanding of the physical layout requirement and ability to perform the critical layouts •Lab testing skills and production test supporting experience•Clear communication and presentation skills with technical leadership to supervise junior engineers in a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications:

MSEE plus 5-6 years or PhD plus 2-3 years of experience in the RFIC design(frequency synthesizers, receiver, transmmitter, etc) for RF transceiver ICs.
