FULL-TIME POSITION OF Engineering Change Coordinator IS AVAILABLE.

 

Job Summary:  Reviews customer specifications to prepare Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and Bills of Materials (BOMs) of a variety of mechanical, structural or electrical designs. Coordinates ECO’s and aids in the implementation of changes.

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities: 

· Generates BOMs and ECOs

· Enters BOMs and ECO data into Intuitive ERP System

· Confers with team to review and analyze technical data, specifications, drawings and parts lists

· Coordinates and consults with other workers on designs, instructions, assembly and machining

· Answers questions pertaining to the engineering changes as needed

· Consults with Engineers, as needed

· Performs special projects as requested by supervisor

· Checks Bills of Materials (BOMs) in the Intuitive ERP system as required

· Assigns material and drawing numbers

· Ensures clarity of Engineering Change Orders documentation such as notes and Bills Of Materials to eliminate production problems

 

Education and Training: 

· Associate degree in related field

· 4 years previous experience working in a related field

· Intuitive ERP experience desired

· Pro-E  experience desired

· AutoCAD experience desired

 

Skills and Experience: 

· Computer proficiency required

· Engineering documentation experience

· Intuitive ERP experience desired

· Pro-E  experience desired

· AutoCAD experience desired

 

Abilities/Traits: 

· Good written and oral communication

· Work in a group setting or independently

· Dependable

· Meet schedules and time lines

· Detail Oriented

· Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others

· Work courteously and tactfully with customers and employees

· Operate office equipment such as copier, fax and printer

· Communicate information and ideas on drawings so that others will understand
