Engineering Technician II

This is an exciting opportunity for a self-directed Engineering Technician to join our high performance, results oriented, expanding Northeast Express team.  Proven success in and enthusiasm for a fast-paced environment with aggressive development cycles is critical.

 

This position is accountable for:

 Technical knowledge of SMT and Thruhole manufacturing assembly processes.Supporting engineering activities such as design, test, checkout, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototype electro-mechanical systems, design circuitry and test equipment .  Assist in design, construction and checkout of test equipment.  Familiarity with equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and specialized test apparatus.  Ability to define and document the assembly process.Generation of all SMT programming for MyData pick and place machines.Creation of visual aids and manufacturing documentation.

 Unicam experienceMyDataAbility to read and understand engineering and customer documentationEffective verbal and written communication skillsGood PC skills (Microsoft Office, etc.)

AA Degree or equivalent technical experience
