Enterprise Data Architect

Requirements
Bose Corporation is seeking a talented individual to be our Enterprise Data Architect to work within our Corporate Information Services (CIS) Enterprise Data Management (EDM) division where you'll be responsible for the creation and maintenance of a centralized repository of information related to enterprise data, interfaces, data strategies and data measurement quality metrics.

In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:

- Design and maintain enterprise data models for assigned subject areas.
- Creation of logical and physical data models for assigned subject areas.
- Creation and maintenance of metadata for assigned subject areas including data definitions, data types, data size, data source, and data target.
- Creation and maintenance of enterprise data dictionary.
- Creation and maintenance of data flow diagrams.
- Collaboration with Data Stewards and business partners to define data quality metrics.
- Collaboration with Data Stewards to design and maintain data quality reports.
- EDM key contacts to assess data impacts resulting from new projects.
- Recommend and evaluate new tools and methodologies for data management.

Skills
- 8+ years of IT/software experience with at least 5 years with SAP and data modeling/data architecture.
- Able to work with key business partners to gain consensus on their organizations' business policies and requirements.
- Ability to present complex technical information to a non-technical audience.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Solid, quantifiable experience in the following: Metadata standards, Data modeling, Use of modeling tools, Data flow diagrams, ERWin, Databases, SQL Server, and PLSQL Programming.
- Knowledge of data quality principles and concepts.
- Knowledge of SQL, ABAP Programming and/or other programming languages.
- Ability to travel occasionally to international Bose locations, associated with projects.

Education
Bachelor's Degree in Information Management, Computer Science or other related area required; Master's preferred.
