Requires solid command and administration of all applicable Export regulations including BIS and ITAR Direct and in-depth experience in product/item classification (ECCN, ML, Schedule B/HTS), export license determinations, certifications, declarations and all applicable export filings and compliance assessments. Responsible for completing and submitting export license applications Coordinate with multiple parties and process export transactional activities through Ricoh's internal systems and other systems as applicable, AES, SNAP-R, D-Trade, etc. Assess issues and various processes to develop solutions for a wide range of function related issues while ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining compliance. Solutions are imaginative, thorough, and practical and consistent with the organization's objectives. Precedents are frequently not available Errors will results in serious program or project delays, incur unexpected financial expenses, potentially risk client relationships and/or require considerable expenditures to resolve the problem in multiple departments and possible overall functional area Receives general direction. Independently determines and develops approach to related work solutions. Work is reviewed periodically during assignments and at major milestones for policy compliance and alignment with project requirements May serve as a team leader within work group or on cross-functional team Frequently provide training and guidance to less experienced team members In-depth command and application of company and organization policies, practices and procedures In-depth command of company products and their application In-depth command and application of the overall procurement process (domestic &foreign purchased materials) from initial placement of order through to the processing of vendor invoices In-depth command and application of all laws (domestic and international), regulations, rulings and acts pertaining to the import/ export of materials including products and software and all associated record keeping requirements May require In-depth command and application of import and/or purchasing processes. Assists in the development of methods and procedures of organizational processes to ensure consistent communication and application of all required procedures. In-depth command and full use of international shipping and transportation processes and logistics. Domestic transportation background helpful.
