FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER (Biomedical)

Nice opportunity. Manufacturer of medical instrumentation is growing their surgical products group and need a Field Service Engineer based out of the greater New York City/Long Island area. Position could require about some overnight travel. Good growth opportunities. This position requires Field Service experience, good electronics & electro-mech expertise, and some network connectivity knowledge. Experience servicing biomedical instrumentation is mandatory, and any experience servicing biomedical instrumentation used in the operating room would be an asset. Company prefers someone with an AAS Degree, but will consider military biomedical training, or an 18 month Technical Certificate.  Must be either a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident and be able to pass a thorough background check, motor vehicle check, and drug screen. Will consider candidates who reside in the NYC area, Boroughs, Long Island, or Northern NJ. 

Requirements
* Good electronics & electro-mech experience, and network connectivity knowledge.
* Experience servicing biomedical instrumentation is a MUST !
* Some overnight travel is required.
* Must be able to work well with minimal supervision.
* Prefer a 2 year degree, 2 year certificate, or military biomed training.
* Need to be either a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident with good communication skills.
