Fiber Optics Pre-Sales Design Engineer - Field Application Engineer - SoCal

We are actively scheduling interviews with our long-time, industry-leading client for an experienced Fiber Optics Pre-sales Engineer / Field Application Engineer to join their team in SoCal.

The successful candidate will come with at least 7-10yrs experience in Fiber Optics, Wireless (a plus), and/or Motor Control products (a plus).  This resource must have an outstanding technical understanding of the space COMBINED WITH excellent customer and management skills.

The territory will run from Santa Barbara to San Diego, with heavy emphasis on major clients in Orange County.

This individual will be the Solution and Co-Design contract between the company and client Design Engineers, and will provide application specific expertise.  S/he will work directly with customer design personnel on a project basis, and will lead the co-development and design activity leading to a solution choice by the customer.  In this role, you will ensure that all design issues are properly addressed to enhance the satisfaction level of the customer.
