Field Service EngineerRequirements
Ø High mechanical aptitude with minimum 5 yearsrelevant hands-on experience
Ø High electrical aptitude with minimum 5 yearsrelevant hands-on experience
Ø Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Ø Able to read and understand mechanical drawings,BOM’s and electrical schematics
Ø Knowledge of PLC’s, their programming, and theirlanguages (Mitsubishi, Omron, AB etc)
Ø Knowledge of AC & DC motors and their drives
Ø Knowledge of Servomotors and their drives is aplus
Ø Knowledge of pneumatics
Ø Associates degree in electronics, engineering,or equivalent practical experience (Bachelors Degree in Engineering preferred)

Ø International and domestic travel when needed(which could include weekend travel at times)
Responsibilites:
Ø Repairing, installing and maintainingFelins technology in-house, attradeshows, and at customer’s facilities world-wide
Ø Completing and submitting required reports ontime
Ø Instruction/training of customers on proper use,operation, and maintenance of Felins’ technology
Ø Provides effective remote and onsite servicesupport
Ø Recognizes potential problems with existingequipment and develop solutions with the ability to adapt to variousengineering designs, applications, and process criteria
Ø Reports product deficiencies and providesrecommendations for product improvements and enhancements
Ø Enhances Felins’ value to customers and growrevenue possibilities
Ø Supports Felins’ business through promotion ofFelins’ technology Felins’ expectations for the Field Service Engineer position:
Ø Willingness to do what’s needed to helpaccomplish desired goals
Ø Able to repair machines in a reasonable amountof time
Ø Maintain flexibility in performing other dutiesas needed while in-house
Ø Must have effective written and verbalcommunication skills
Ø Computer literate (Microsoft Office products&Internet Explorer)
Ø Ability to effectively troubleshoot servicecalls over the telephone
Ø Willingness to increase and expand skill levelsand abilities
Ø Develop and maintain expert level competencieson all Felins technology
Ø Professional attitude and appearance at alltimes
Ø Must treat all employees and customers withrespect and must be a teamplayer
Ø Observe safe work practices at all times andutilize personal protective equipment as required in accordance with Felins andcustomer site safety policies
Ø Perform all activities in compliance withFederal, State, and local government regulations and requirements
Ø Responsible for assigned tools and instrumentation,maintaining them in good operating condition and calibration
Ø Work closely with technical service, sales,manufacturing, and engineering to maintain project schedules, budgets,equipment, and materials
