Field Service Engineer (3553)

Location Atlanta GAJob Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for performing on-site installations, servicing and repair of complex antenna equipment and systems. Checks and approves operational quality of system equipment, as well as instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of the system. This person serves as company liaison with customer on technical matters for field engineering issues, and works in the Call Center in a Tier 2 capacity and provides technical assistance to customers. This person also performs preventive maintenance, repair, testing, and calibration of digital/analog electronic systems and equipment.The successful candidate for this position will 3-5 years experience in the satellite communications field. Military SATCOM experience is a plus. A background in the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of fixed and mobile antenna systems is valued, as well as proficiency in Win XP, Unix, AutCAD and Linux OS.US citizenship is required and there is a chance of travel of about 75%.Experience/Skills Required The successful candidate will have 3-5 years experience in the satellite communications field.
