Job Description Field Service Engineer, I Key Responsibiities: Learn the RM&SI products thoroughly by spending time in assembly cells, repairing customer items in house,performing basic PM trips, and attending training sessions as required. Elevate to level II FSE as experience is gained and certification on instruments is achieved. · Once notified of need by FS Leader, complete his/her own travel arrangements in an efficient, economical manner that supports customer needs and company rules.· Notify customer of arrival time and verify service requirements.· Notify FS Leader and co-workers of travel plans.· Gather parts, tools, and documentation required for the trip.· Travel to customer sites for instrument maintenance, repair, installation or training as applicable.· Obtain customer approval of work performed upon completion.· Complete Field Service Record at customer site.· Complete expense report upon return.· Generate report and forward trip documents to FS Leader.· File Service Record copy in customer product folder.· Contact customer after visit to insure satisfaction, report results to FS Leader.· Report results of any non-conformance issues to appropriate manufacturing supervisor with copy to FS Leader Complete any outstanding issues related to service visit· Present service offerings to existing and potential customers Qualifications:· Electronics Certification, AS technical degree, or Military Training· Must be physically capable of safely and regularly lifting loads of 50 pounds or more, scaling ladders up to 25 feet above ground, and/or working upon automatic lift mechanisms at heights up to 100 feet.
