Field Service Engineer-- Laser Experience

Responsibilities

 

·         Setting up industrial laser equipment at customer sites.

 

·         Doing maintenance work on machines.

·         Trouble shooting problems with machines at customer sites.

·         Travel to customer sites everyday by car or plane.

 



 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Required Experience and Skills

·         Minimum of 2 years experience as a field service engineer, maintenance technician, or programmer in a CNC work environment using industrial cutting lasers, punch press, or CNC chipmaking equipment such as machining centers and lathes.  Experience of two years or more can include working in a job shop or on the shop floor of a manufacturing facility.

·         Must have ability to travel 90% as each day working at a customer site which will also include overnight stays occasionally.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Education

·         Prefer an Associates degree or electronics or manufacturing technology but not mandatory.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Compensation

·         Salary $40- $50K

·         Plus overtime, average about 55 hours a week.

·         Traveling expenses.
