Financial Analyst - Operations

The incumbent in this position will strengthen the Financial Analysis Team by improving the analytical (financial) support and communication to the Sales and Operation Team. The individual will work closely with the EVP of Operations, the Operation Function Directors for Sourcing and Distribution (Supply Chain) and Manufacturing and the other members of the Financial Analysis Team.  In addition, the incumbent will work together with internal departments (IS and Accounting) to further develop Information Management.

This position will develop and analyze financial and operational management information to enable to:

  -Translate and report the information to the users

  -Investigate performance deviations from the goals

  -Initiate discussions related to process improvements

  -Influence the decision making process

The individual in this position will be involved in larger Operational and Business projects that require strong analytical and communication skills.

RESPONSIBILITES:

Develop and analyze financial and operational management information related to:

  -Inventory Management 

-Cost of Product (Manufactured and Sourced)

  -Demand Planning: Freight (Inbound and Outbound)

  -Sourcing Effectiveness: Worldwide Reporting of Operation performance

Projects:

  -Any larger project that will be initiated with the goal to improve the financial performance by improving efficiency or via specific cost cutting projects.

- Closely work with Operation Management and internal departments to further develop Information Management.
