Flash Memory Reliability Engineer - Process Development

As a Reliability Engineer at Micron within the NAND FLASH Process Development group, you will be in a highly visible roll providing reliability assessment toward qualification of next generation NAND FLASH memory technology.  Your responsibilities will involve reliability testing and assessment of process DOE material for memory cell improvement, identifying process weaknesses through component failure analysis and reliability test data analysis, developing and proving test screens for reliability issues, assessing array trim optimization and trim reliability models, assessing competitor reliability, and modeling customer risk.  Your work will involve development and use of software scripts in JMP, R, and PERL that provide statistical analysis of reliability test data sets.  You will also work with Maverick testers and custom test script development, autoprobers, and interface directly with Micron reliability labs on Ambyx/EPRO part testing. You will work directly with engineers throughout Micron's Flash Memory team including QA, Test, Product Engineering, Design, Applications and Process Integration to assess memory cell reliability and achieve new process qualifications and reliability improvements.Successful candidates for this position will have:  Experience in non-volatile memory cell function, failure analysis, and reliability testing (Data Retention, Endurance Cycling, HTOL, ESD, Latch-Up, Package Stresses).  A thorough understanding of semiconductor memory processing and have a proficient knowledge of both statistics and reliability methods. Excellent data analysis skills. Proficiency with programming (PERL, C/C++, or Visual Basic), statistical software scripting (SAS, JMP, R, or RS1) and in the use of PC/Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, HTML).  Excellent communication, organization, problem solving skills and a strong work ethic. The ability to work in fast paced, multi-tasking team environment. Experience with non-volatile memory component testers (preferred). Education:BS degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Physics (MS degree preferred). Join Us!
