Functional Test Engineer

In this role you will support the production quality control process for electronic equipment.  This position is essential to maintaining performance and accuracy in production to support the long-term growth of the company. · Display visual activity related to both acuity and dealing with detailed information and working off of a computer screen for extended periods.· Exhibit full motor functionality including standing, walking, and bending through the duration of a shift· Demonstrate flexibility with regard to working both a.m. and p.m. shifts, as well as weekends, where necessary and applicable. · Maintain neat, organized, and clean work environment  Responsibilities Included But Not Limited To:1.  Provide guidance, direction, and coordination to the technical staff thereby contributing to improvement of skill levels, quality standards, process improvements, problem solving abilities, and continued technical development through education.2.  Ensure that all Federal, State, and Local Laws and Regulations are complied with in conjunction with this position and it’s oversight of facility processes.3.  Adhere to and convey importance of all company safety, quality, and environmental practices4.  Participate in the daily analysis of rejected units in combination with developing and implementing functional test programs for NTF/reject reduction5.  Attend Reject Improvement Process meetings as both a participant and a specialist6.  Lead by Example7.  Perform other duties as assignedNecessary Skills & Experience: 1.  Engineering skills required encompassing knowledge of electronics, mechanics, pneumatics, computer programming, and robotics2.  Ability to work independently and as a support resource for project teams and management. 3.  Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem solving skills are required. 4.  Must currently be working as a Test Engineer within an industrial manufacturing facility with a minimum of 5 years of stable work experience.5.  Agilent Functional Testing experience preferred and creation of test programs for In-Circuit Testers (IBT & FP). “Teradyne/ Hioki”6.  4-year college degree required.  BS in Electrical Engineering or related field.   Contact Information: Manufacturing and Engineering Candidates that meet these criteria, or know someone whom they respect enough to refer, that are looking to join a company offering incredible potential and stability are encouraged to send a copy of their resume in Microsoft Word format to: bdellinger@mrbethlehem.com    MRINetwork is the largest and most successful search organization in the world.
