Company: Tyco Electricial and Metal Products Location: Phoenix, AZ 85009 Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Manufacturing/Production/Operations Experience: 2+ to 5 Years       Job Description   Job Description: Education: High School Education Experience:  3-5 years welding experience with attention to detail and precision.  Background with pipe welds helpful.  Manufacturing background also helpful.  Must be safety conscious and a team player. Duties and Responsibilities:  Performs various types of welding, brazing and cutting using gas and electric welding equipment.  Receives instructions, prints and work orders for the job.  Plans details of working procedures, tools and material requirements.  Repairs equipment by using welding techniques and appropriate welding equipment.  Cleans and prepares surfaces to be welded.  Sets up, assembles, and tacks weld parts.  Builds up worn or defective surfaces.  Uses burning equipment to dismantle assemblies and cut material to size and shape.  Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly.  Must be able to read and write, do simple math and read a ruler.
