General Processing Operator (Semiconductors/Nanotechnology)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under general supervision, operate chemical laboratory/pilot plant equipment as well as spincoat equipment. Assist engineering and scientific staff to characterize the generated liquid formulation as well as the coated films. Perform experiments for engineering and scientific staff and record test results in logbooks and lab notebooks.

 

Required skill set:

Operate, and monitor process equipment

•

Assist engineers and scientists in the development of testing techniques

•

Facilitate operation and maintenance of clean room, ensuring adherence to established standards

•

Ensure adherence to Nantero policies and procedures

•

Awareness of safety for self and others

•

Ability to gather data, compile information and prepare reports

•

Knowledge of clean room / laboratory operations and/or procedures

•

Ability to understand and follow complex, detailed technical instructions

•

Knowledge of microelectronic cleanliness and quality standards

•

Skill in collecting characterization data

•

Experience with the following equipment set is desired
• Automated pilot plant, ultracentrifuges
• Coat tracks

•

Ability to work with limited supervision

 

EXPERIENCE:

•

Associate’s Degree and 2-3 years as processing operator in a chemical/semiconductor company preferred.

•

Experience with handling chemicals, operating automated pilot plant equipment, ultracentrifuges

manual and/or automated spin coaters a strong plus.
