This individual will be a change agent within the company to help PCEC make the shift from a manufacturing/sales driven company to a market-driven company and cultureAccountabilities1 Strategic Planning and Managementa Evolve the focus of the current team from Marketing Communications/support to a dynamic center of demand creation and future value generation.b Lead the development, qualification, implementation and evaluation of all consumer communication campaigns for strategic product categoriesc Develop a scientific marketing approach to the business by: establishing clear marketing objectives and programming metrics; and embracing analytical tools and approaches to inform smarter investment choices and to assess return on investmentd Manage a roster of Agency partners throughout all phases of the creative development process2 Staff Managementa Training and developing a team of Direct Reports to build new technical marketing competencies in: consumer understanding, integrated advertising campaign development (360 degree marketing), new product launches, and marketing analyticsb Accomplish staff results by communicating job expectations and planning, monitoring and appraising job results Basic QualificationsEducation and Experiencea Bachelor?s degree, MBA preferredb 7+ yrs of consumer marketing experience preferably within packaged goodsc Thorough knowledge of marketing theories and practices d Proven track record of delivering business results? Excellent understanding of consumer brand management including a good basic understanding of sales and consumer promotion techniques? Demonstrated track record of using Marketing to turn around a business.? Excellent communication skills including written, verbal, and presentation skills? Strong organizational skills with the proven ability to multi-task? Ability to challenge and critique data and analysis? Experience in evaluating copy and creative to judge overall effectiveness? Previous exposure working in multi-cultural environment, ideally with Japanese counterparts.? Proven success leading through influence rather than direct authority? Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, changing environment?
