HR Business Partner 1 Human Resources

HR Generalist reporting to site HR Manager at our Bloomington, MN manufacturing site. First point of contact for employee questions & concerns. Ensure policies and procedures are consistently applied. Develop skill in advising managers and employees in performance development. Coach & train managers in the handling of employee relations issues. Support the delivery of compensation, benefits and company morale programs to site employees. Support internal and external recruitment efforts for client group. Work on global HR and site projects as needed. Train managers and employees on HR core and compliance programs. Other generalist duties as assigned.

Proven team player with solid communication skills. Strong customer service focus. Proficiency in MS Office programs. Must have the ability to appropriately handle confidential and sensitive information. Prefer a self-driven candidate with ability to multi-task. Knowledge/familiarity with an HRIS system (preferably Peoplesoft) is a plus. Familiarity of Federal and State Labor legislation preferred. MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: BA/BS in HR/IR, Business Administration, or Business Management preferred. Practical HR experience preferred but not required. EOE
