With a commitment to shared leadership, Arrow has an environment that fosters growth and development.At present, we have an excellent opportunity for an HR Coordinator in our Solon, OH or Indianapolis, IN location.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Performs HR administrative tasks such as posting job requisitions, completes HR data forms, and performs general HR administrative tasks under the direction, and guidance, of the HR supervisor. - Provides basic HR administrative support to supervisor, and peers, in tactical and policy related situations. - Responds to employee and manager inquiries, and escalates path for non-routine matters. - Performs reporting and trend analysis, as needed. Identifies trends that indicate problems with data or processes. - Performs transactions of a routine and non-routine nature, and provides guidance using past experience, combined with policies and program administration guidelines. - Fully understands the legal requirements of employment and data management and is able to explain to employees, managers and HR Consultants how information must be handled, and what is required to meet both legal, and organizational frameworks. - Able to develop reports or analyses based on requests from the HR Director and the businesses the HR Coordinator role supports. - Works within well defined procedures that involve a variety of work activities. Understands all procedures and must evaluate and select appropriate alternatives from defined HR solutions, and policies. - Demonstrates a tactful, and diplomatic demeanor, due to the confidential, and delicate nature of the HR issues this role will be faced with. - Responds to HR policy-related questions, guiding the employee through basic HR queries, and escalates, as appropriate.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: - High school diploma or GED - 3 to 5 years of related experience - Proficiency in MS Office - Solid understanding of HR policies and procedures - Ability to multi-task and prioritize - Strong knowledge of Arrow's policies and programs, employment related, payroll, and benefits regulations. - Project Management skills, concise communication skills, and solid organizational capabilitiesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - BA/ BSC degree in HR-related discipline - SHRM membershipWe offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, which includes tuition reimbursement, employee stock ownership plan, health and dental plans, 401(k), and a unique sabbatical program.
