HRIS Administrator

 

SEH America is a growing global wafer manufacturer on the cutting edge of silicon technology. We are looking for an experienced HRIS Administrator to be a key member of our Human Resources team as we expand our Vancouver, WA, plant to include the latest wafer technology.

 

The ideal Administrator will have a strong knowledge of  HRIS structures and systems as it relates to l record keeping and reporting methods. This individual must be detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy. In addition this individual will be asked to perform the following functions:

 

· Maintains integrity of electronic and paper employment records pertaining to employment actions by promoting best practices for recordkeeping, reporting and updating of information. 

· Provides data, reports and statistics to HR staff and all levels of management.  Examples may include turnover and headcount reports, special projects, promotion lists, benefit enrollment and deduction reports, etc.

· Administers HRIS user accounts for administrators in HR, managers, and employees.  Ensures HR database security through control of computer access and documented password, permission and privilege functions.

· Provides customer service and answers general HR and Benefit questions.  Provides back-up support to the Benefits Analyst for benefit inquiries; assists in researching basic issues relating to benefits.

· Assists with various benefit notice distributions.  Examples may include Initial COBRA Notice, Term Letters, Summary Annual Reports, Summary Plan Descriptions, eligibility notices, etc.

· Provide back-up assistance with other human resources responsibilities as needed and seasonal assistance as needed during peak times, such as annual merit review, benefit fairs, etc.

 

Qualifications:

· Minimum of 3-4 yrs experience in a similar HRIS role. Associates degree strongly desired.

· Experience using ADP systems such as HR Benefits, eTime, and PC Payroll is preferred.

· Knowledge of state and federal regulations pertaining to employee records management.

· Experienced user of database, word processing and spreadsheet software. Ability to create graphs and charts for reporting and power point presentations.

· Demonstrated ability to present accurate, concise, and compete information in written forms and oral presentations.

· Experience working in a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment a plus.
