Position Description:
Will be responsible for board level hardware design and development of evaluation platforms and reference designs for digital set top box products. Must be able to carry a project through from conception, design, fabrication, debug, and working prototypes. The position also involves post silicon validation of new Set-top Box IC designs and associated set top box hardware.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years experience with the design of PCBs at the component level. Schematic design, supervision of PCB layout activity, board debug experience, and use of logic analyzers and oscilloscopes are essential skills. Prior experience with high speed PCB design is important. Signal integrity expertise is desirable. Experience with satellite and/or cable set-top box architecture, MPEG, embedded CPUs, DDR1 and DDR2 memory interfaces, video, audio, graphics and various interfaces such as HDMI, Serial-ATA, USB 2.0, Ethernet, Smart Cards, Modems, Serial Ports, I2C, SPI is desirable.
