Overview: Support Services Engineer / Help Desk At Alternative Technology (Englewood Colorado) At present, we have an excellent opportunity for a Support Services / Help Desk Engineer in our Englewood, CO location. The candidate for this position will be responsible for supporting customers in a variety of dynamic situations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Provide technical advice, diagnostic expertise and assistance, and training to the customer's engineering personnel to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction. - Provide solutions to technical problems and troubleshooting assistance, including in the field, if necessary. On-Site surveys may be required at times. - Ability to simultaneously manage the interaction among the End User, the Value Added Reseller, and multiple technology vendors - Follow through with customers to ensure proper function of complex systems. - Must have a strong background and hands on technical experience. - Strong networking background and proficient with all Microsoft applications. - Strong verbal and written communication skills and an intense customer focus. - Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects. - Keeping abreast of the company's latest products and services through attending training classes, sometime in remote locations. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: - Minimum of 2 years proven Server / application experience - Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer - Active Directory experience - Server experience - 20% travel is required.
