IMPLEMENTATION & SUPPORT TECHNICIAN NEEDED!

 

NYC based Systems Integrator that designs, sells, installs and maintains access control, video surveillance, time & attendance and parking control systems for stand alone or networked applications. Sales staff will assist in crafting solutions that are tailored to a company's specific needs. Factory trained and certified support staff and field technicians perform installations and technical diagnostics and support, ranging from computer software troubleshooting to electro-mechanical repair. Product solutions include badge readers and interface terminals, biometric readers, cameras, DVR's, barrier gates and parking revenue control equipment that can be seamlessly integrated to Access, Time & Attendance and Parking Control software packages designed to meet unique system requirements.



We are currently looking for a qualified individual for the position of:



 IMPLEMENTATION & SUPPORT TECHNICIAN

 



Primary Focus:



Install, configure, test, maintain, troubleshoot and repair systems offered by CTRNY including building access control, CCTV and parking revenue and access control systems.



Plan access control/parking system/CCTV installations by surveying and evaluating location, identifying installation requirements and laying out equipment and wiring plans.



Prepare for access control/parking system/CCTV installations by reviewing orders, gathering equipment, supplies and tools and coordinating schedules with customers.



Document all phases of installations and service calls and obtain sign-offs for all work performed.



Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with customers in order to facilitate resolution of concerns and questions as well as developing future business prospects.



Provide the customer with end user based training on system capability and function.



Provide exemplary customer service while meeting or exceeding customer’s goals for the project.



 

Key Metrics:



* 3+ years experience installing and supporting access control systems

* Must have valid drivers license and clean driving record

* Good communication skills with customers, supervisors and employees

* Good organizational skills

* Knowledge of computers, applications and operating systems – networking knowledge a plus

* Acquainted with business and commercial procedures

* Strong technical/electronics and troubleshooting aptitude

* Understands the interrelationships of circuits

* Understands electronic components and their functions

* Understands relationship between mechanical components and their function

* Exercises independent judgment or initiative

* Problem solves by using established procedures

* Flexibility and capability to learn new products, components and systems

* Understands and works well in a team environment
