INSTRUMENTATION & CONTROLS TECHNICIAN

Job Summary:  Bloc Design Build, a wholly-owned company of KSA Engineers, Inc., is currently seeking a qualified Instrumentation and Controls Technician with a minimum of two years experience specializing in instrumentation and electrical technologies. Our ideal candidate must be motivated, can manage time wisely, can work unsupervised, has a good driving record, can work with co-workers and customers, and is determined to provide the highest quality of work possible.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 Must be able to configure and program a variety of PLC’s, HMI’s, and Instrumentation Must be able to read and wire to electrical schematics. Evaluate and upgrade existing equipment Provide assistance in the design and implementation of new equipment Create custom reports for SCADA systems Tune control loops (PID) Run conduit and pull wire Install electrical enclosures Install radio towers, this may include some concrete work Provide Training to clients Have a basic understanding of computer networking and some software application such as AutoCAD, Microsoft word and excel, etc. Assist in the creation of Submittals, Proposals, and O & M ManualsMust be willing to travel and stay overnight on weekdays.Must have knowledge of electrical theory, controls, safety practices, and the NEC (National Electric Code). Must be authorized to work in the United States.
