IR110/IR150 Service Field Technician

The Gordon Flesch Company, the Midwest's largest independently owned Canon dealer, is looking for a motivated Field Service Technician in our Geneva, IL, territory with an advanced electronics/computer background that is looking for an opportunity to grow with our company!

As an integral part of the long-term relationship between our customers and ourselves, the Gordon Flesch Company strives to surprise our customers with friendly, punctual, expert service every single time. The territory for this position will encompass the Geneva area.

**Candidates will not be considered unless they possess Canon Copier experience specifically on the IR110/IR150 models or similiar HP high-end copier service experience!!**

IR110/IR150 Service Field Technician - Geneva, IL

 

Responsibilities:

 

Ø  Troubleshoot & repair high end copier, printer, scanner, and facsimile equipment

§  Canon, Sharp, Kyocera Mita

§  Specifically the Canon IR110/IR150 line

 

Ø  Travel to various customer locations within assigned territory

 

Ø  Complete necessary paperwork

§  Mileage

§  Time records

§  Parts used

§  Problems solved

§  Service history report

 

Ø  Generate leads for the sales force

 

Requirements:

 

Ø  Extensive service experience on office equipment required

Ø  Specific high end copier repair experience required – specifically Canon IR110/IR150 or similar Kodak versions preferred

Ø  High degree of electromechanical skills

Ø  Verifiable strong work ethic

Ø  Reliable transportation

Ø  Driving record that meets our DWI policy

Ø  Customer service expertise

Ø  Effective communication skills

Ø  Ability to work independently

Ø  Logical troubleshooting skills

Ø  Ability to lift 75 lbs

Ø  Associates degree in electronics or equivalent military experience

Ø Networking knowledge and training a plus



Salary is based on experience. Mileage reimbursement is included and requires participants to maintain minimum liability limits.
