Position Summary:Our Operations team is seeking a dynamic individual to define, implement and maintain a comprehensive import/export strategy for the entire company.In this role, you will coordinate the efforts of multiple facilities globally. You will establish processes and procedures in order to maintain full compliance with U.S. and international customs laws while enabling product and material to move between these facilities without undue delays. You will be responsible for the cross-functional partnership between all departments that ship these materials. This role will drive the overall effort forward to maintain a high level of shipping performance.Accountabilities:- Corporate import & export regulation compliance for all Lattice facilities. - Training of personnel involved with any international shipping to comply with appropriate regulations. - Stay current with changes & updates of any applicable new or existing regulations & classifications. - Create & maintain tools / procedures to insure that Lattice international shipments are properly documented for import/export regulation compliance. - Interface with shipping vendors to insure that transactions made on Lattice's behalf comply with the appropriate regulations. - Partner with our Information Systems team to automate & implement shipment documentation that will eliminate the possibility of human error. - Complete assigned projects related to domestic and international import/export regulation, new corporate shipping and/or documentation goals.- Oversee all import/export related record keeping. Qualifications:- Minimum BA/BS Degree.- 5+ years import/export experience.- Knowledge of international shipping procedures, methods, laws, regulations, and compliance programs.- Thorough knowledge of the EAR and solid ECCN classification skills for technical products required.- Knowledge of AE and customs regulations and HTS/Schedule B classification skills required.- Familiarity with ITAR preferred.- Ability to coordinate with multiple sites, departments, & people to obtain compliance for all applicable regulations. - Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to relate and communicate with employees at all levels of the company.- Experience in semiconductor or component industry preferred.
