Job Title:  Industrial Electrical CAD designer/operator

Status:  Full Time, Employee

Aggressively seeking qualified Industrial Electrical CAD operators for the St. Louis office. The qualified candidate must have over two years experience with industrial electrical deign with AutoCAD.  Candidate must have experience in several of the following:

PLC Electrical CAD Schematics. (Preferably Modicon or Allen Bradley)
Power Electrical CAD, 480V one lines, MCC and risers.
Control Panel and Bill Of Material (BOM) layouts

Process and Instrumentation Drawings

AutoCAD 200X, AutoCAD Electrical

Associates degree in Electrical Technology

Training on the National Electrical Code

 

Duties:

Working under direction and in coordination with Electrical Designers/Engineers, develops engineering CAD Electrical drawing packages.   By understanding basic electrical principles the candidate will be involved with sizing, analyzing, selecting appropriate panel, wire sizes, panel layouts, conduits and terminations of various electrical devices. 

Organizing project files, plotting, preparing Electrical drawing sets for issuing incremental reviews (60% 90% and Issue For Bid). 

Must be flexible to readily adapt to specific client CAD standards and formats. Adapts existing drawing packages to meet new project layouts and needs.  Capable of visualizing existing designs, documenting modifications and demo drawings.
