Industrial Electrician

Troubleshoots and repairs electrical, electronic, logic and mechanical components and systems involving machinery, equipment and plant utilities.  Completion of a 4-year state indentured electrical apprenticeship and additional technical education in electronic repair with 4 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical and electro-mechanical equipment and control systems.  -OR- 2-year diploma in electronic servicing and 4 years experience, as stated above, plus 2 additional years of experience in industrial electronic repair.  Must be familiar with basic computer systems and be able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.  Must be able to operate forklift trucks, man lift equipment, overhead cranes and be familiar with welding and machining equipment.

Position requires a High School Diploma/GED. Candidate must have basic reading and math skills; must be able to convert decimals to fractions and fractions to decimals. Must be able to read a tape measure.
