Alpharetta, Georgia At present, we have an excellent opportunity for an Inside Sales Account Representative - IBM in our Alpharetta, GA location. With a commitment to shared leadership, Arrow has an environment that fosters growth and development RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for day to day sales and customer service activities for assigned accounts. Assists in determining and understanding Solution Provider/VARs requirements for Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions (ECS) product offerings and services. - Build, manage, and retain customer relationships with assigned Arrow ECS business partners. - Provide complete, accurate and timely configurations and proposals to our Partners for IBM solutions. - Achieve high level of product and program knowledge for IBM solutions - Identify, collect and manage each business partners' opportunities and use those opportunities to generate forecasts - Maintain industry leading customer satisfaction rating by providing timely, professional, and accurate responses to business partners - Manage profitability of assigned accounts by reviewing backlog, invoices, order packets, special bids, allowances, etc. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: - High school diploma or equivalent with three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience - Experience in an inside sales or customer service role - Technical aptitude - Demonstrated effective interactions with a variety of personnel at all organizational levels - Able to manage day-to-day activities independently - Ability to analyze the impact of decisions before executing them PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university with related experience / training - Knowledge of IBM System P and Storage products - Experience using IBM's "eConfig" configuration tool - Experience working in or with IBM's business partner channel We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, which includes tuition reimbursement, employee stock ownership plan, health and dental plans, 401(k), and a unique sabbatical program.
