Position Description:This position is responsible for pre-sales and telesales support of DS3000 and DS4000 disk storage products and solutions with a primary focus on assisting Insight.com sales representatives in all critical phases of the sales process. This person will act as the sales driver for sales execution and opportunities to close. The individual in this position will work at the Insight.com sales location to provide technical product information and provide overall pre-sales and telesales support on an ongoing basis. The candidate must be capable of organizing and extensively communicating within Insight and their customers. The ability to rapidly assimilate knowledge of new products and technologies is critical.The successful candidate will be viewed by as a trusted sales and technical advisor to the Insight sales teams and customers and will possess in-depth knowledge of disk storage technology, solutions, products and services to help the partner formulate and execute selling strategies. BA or BS Degree, preferably in Engineering or Computer Science, and 3-5+ years of related experience in sales or technical position OR Associate degree or equivalent with 5 - 7 + years experience in a pre-sales technical and/or sales position? Demonstrated knowledge of storage management concepts, data communication, and client/sever environments.? Ability to design small-to-midrange disk storage solutions that require significant interaction with other IBM brands and/or third party products? Demonstrate the ability to overcome normal technical barriers to sales. ? Strong customer relations skills and understanding of the sales cycle.? Appropriate sense of urgency in fulfilling customer and sales team requirements. ? Previous storage sales experience is strongly preferred.? Strong written, oral, and exemplary presentation skills.? Ability to be proactive and work independently, as well as contributing as a team player.? Aggressive personality and evidence of professional energy and excellence. ? Inside sales experience, telesales experience and strong telephone skills
