Inside Techncial Sales Representative (Spanish/English) – Exton, PA

Position Description:

As a Inside Sales Technical Representative, you will have the opportunity to utilize your professional communication and technical skills to promote and sell ifm products while learning about cutting edge industrial and process automation technologies. Responsibilities include:

·  Create new business opportunities in an assigned geographic area via telephone, electronic media and direct mail to selected customers and prospects.Follow up on leads from trade shows and other corporate marketing efforts.

·  Work closely with the Inside Sales Manager and Branch Sales Managers to determine target accounts and sales strategies.

·  Visit selected customer sites to learn about product applications and build relationships.

 

Work Hours:  10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

 

Qualifications:

·  High level of enthusiasm for and interest in inside sales along with a positive attitude to persevere and excel.

·  Proactive with a strong team and customer orientation.

·  Technical / mechanical aptitude with computer skills to include Microsoft Office, Internet, ERP and CRM.

·  At least one year of related technical experience.

·  Excellent communication, organization and problem solving skills.

·  Knowledge of factory automation and industrial / process controls marketplace preferred.

·  Engineering or technical degree preferred.

·  Bilingual Spanish/English a plus.

·  Occasional travel required.

 

Training:

ifm efector provides an outstanding hands-on and classroom training program that includes product, technical and sales training, along with visits to customer manufacturing sites to understand customer needs and see our products in action. After training, you will have the opportunity to create relationships with our customers and grow your own territory!
