As the Installation Manager at GridPoint, Inc. you would: Act as the single point of contact for utility, installation partners, and GridPoint management for the installation portion of our projects. Oversee the successful installations of GridPoint solutions for one or more utilities. Coordinate installations with utilities, partners, and home owners. Ensure GridPoint solution and entire system is implemented to the satisfaction of the authority having jurisdiction, utility, location owner, and GridPoint Customer Service group. Ensure acceptance procedures are completed. Authorize and track project financials included change orders. Receive and track inspection records from installation partners. Maintain accurate records and enter data into the customer service system. Influence others to share and act on project vision. Create a supportive team environment encouraging risk taking and challenging members to exceed conventional expectations Advise project manager on project developments and any implications related to the installation (quality of installation, performance of installation partner, etc.) Independently develop installation schedules, problem solve installation issues and work with installation partners. Ensure all delivered work products are consistent with GridPoint standards 25% - 50% travel required.

ExperienceB.S. degree or equivalent combination of education and experience and the completion of a 4-year apprenticeship program.. Current master electrician license. Experience as an electrical project manager and/or a field foreman. Alternatively, a bachelor’s degree and PMI certification or equivalent experience may be considered. Strong working knowledge of the NEC. Negotiation skills. Knowledge of electrical safety standards. Ability to read, write and communicate effectively. Familiarity with permitting and inspection processes. Ability to work efficiently with little or no supervision. Ability to read electrical prints and schematics. Professional appearance and attitude. Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and must have a reliable vehicle. Drug and Background check. Working knowledge of solar installations is a plus
