Installation/ Service Technician

 

 

Overview-

 

The Technician is responsible for all aspects of installation, maintenance and repair of commercial sound systems, including installing and servicing audio, video, commercial sound systems, and drive thru equipment.

 

Key Accountabilities

 

Installation of all types of commercial audio, video and satellite systems.

 

Performs service calls and documents, compiling client history and determining the appropriate approach.

 

Maintains and troubleshoot systems.

 

Applies technical knowledge of electronic principals in determining equipment malfunctions and applies skills in restoring equipment operations.

 

Resolves system problems by applying good customer service in a timely manner.

 

Maintains a positive attitude and outlook at all times.

 

 

Skill and Qualifications.

 

A Technician candidate should possess good customer service skills, and attention to detail and the ability to multitask.  In addition, the candidate must be able to take on task with limited supervision, exercise independent judgment in performing such tasks and complete them in a quick and efficient manner.  Candidates must have a clean driving record.  Must have 5 years experience in Audio / Visual experience.  Experience with DMX, Time Warner, Dish Network and Direct TV a plus!
