International Sales Support Engineer - Hart Scientific

Hart is currently looking for an outstanding International Sales Support Engineer. The ideal candidate will provide technical application and competitive information to field sales force and/or customers.  They may have a role in defining and implementing sales strategies and programs and act as liaison between the field sales force and business unit.

 

 

Responsibilities:

· Support the field sales force and/or customers with application, technical and competitive information.

· Respond to email and telephone requests for information and support; follow‑up in a timely manner.

· Qualify and coordinate specials quotes.

· Provide support at shows and conferences; prepare and deliver audio/visual and oral presentations.

· Assist in new product introduction and training.

· Monitor and forecast large order activity.

· May provide project management for key sales opportunities.

· May provide project management for critical service issues.

· Assist customers under direction of field sales personnel.

· Provide training to field sales force.

· May provide help with large order installations.

· Communicate pricing, lead times, and order status to field sales force.

· Work on special related projects; perform other related duties as assigned.

 

Job Skills and Qualifications:

· Thorough knowledge of sales techniques and product applications.

·  Technical knowledge of the electronic, mechanical, and metrological characteristics of Company and related products. 

· Considerable knowledge of Group products and markets, support resources and competition. 

· Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

· Customer contact experience.

· Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration or Marketing, and a minimum of 3‑5 years practical technical or marketing experience or equivalent is required. 

 

Other:

· Travel up to 20% may be required.
